Key points of discussion:

ODS to ODS data out to state ODS or collaborative ODS can be mostly supported with the change queries and regular resource endpoints. However main challenge is in enumeration translation. Operation context support is not fully functional in the ODS API yet.
A couple of self-serve analytics use cases were discussed some of which are looking for direct ETLs out of ODS which may benefit from expanding analytics middle tier for assessment and student characteristics.
A concept of dynamic profile was discussed. Where in vendors could request permissions to specific entities and fields using profile xml which could then be placed in ODS host environment to grant consistent access to the vendor without complex claim set configuration by the host. The current profile feature in ODS today allows entity level and field level data policy configurations but the setup requires redeployment.
ODS API lacks APIs for analysts, analytics vendors may not have direct access to ODS and regular resource endpoints are too chatty. API built for data queries would be very useful. Question - will a predefined set of composites with field selection feature cover this use case?
