Attendees shared their use cases. user story collection sheet was explained and different technical options for data out were presented.

Key Points of discussion: 

  • Composites – Transportation use case was mentioned

  • ODS to ODS Data Out – District collaborative expressed their interest in this use case

  • Change Queries – Change queries in 2.x line was asked. There was also interest in exposing LastModifiedDate via API, which could be used in place of change queries. 

  • Bulk JSON Export – Following question was raised about bulk JOSN export. If ODS to ODS data out is implemented, could that possibly cover the use case for Bulk export? Participants raised the concern that the solution may not work for analytics vendors as they may not want to depend on the ODS schema for their analytics.

  • Analytics Middle Tier – To lower the risk of breaking data standard changes, interest in expansion of analytics middle tier was expressed.
