Student Transcript proposed API

This work was reviewed. There were few comments, as this is not a space most MSPs seem to be highly engaged in right now.

Transportation data model

Comments

  • This is often connected to state funding, so will come up a lot

  • Needs at the state level (funding) and the local level (usage) are quite different

  • Extensions for this exist in Boston and New Mexico, an ask in NY

Tech Congress Feedback

Major points of agreement

  • Not deep enough in technology to differentiate from Summit; needs more code

  • The “big ideas” sessions need more cross-pollination, or they just end up as echo chambers

  • Needs to be longer - the first half day was mostly a wash

Other

Topic proposed for future meetings was to talk about making faster progress on data quality coming from SIS systems. There still seem to be basic issues with things like descriptor loading/checking and dependency ordering. This would include both vendor supports and agency supports
