    • Collecting data but not storing in Ed-Fi model yet - in transition
    • Individualized plan
      • Student might have multiple plans; counselor/parent/student meet to lock 1 plan in
      • Identify course options is strong indicator in CTE
  • TEA 
    • Discontinued to collect CTE indicator
      • Using all related information from CTE to calculate CTE concentration value
      • Will share with the group
    • SC - Wendy Stephens/Wyatt Cothran
      • Does any state have plans or reporting for assessment, proficiency, competency based requirement?
      • Looking at mapping of work base learning experience
      • Track record with SIS provider
  • MN 
    • Project based learning
      • One implementation of Project-based is that we are using a placeholder LEA course offering and section and then the student enrollment and grade is associated with an SEA course. So the project can be broken into the academic courses and grades and credits assigned.
      • Available for collection, but does not have the student information system to support the data.
      • Using locally created SCED code to connect to CTE
    • CTE has one-off courses and programs
      • For MN, CTE has to be Carl Perkins
    • Work with DoubleLine

Action Items:

  • IN, SC, and MN to learn from what WI has done on CTE side
  • IN to have short interview with MN (Karen) on PBL requirement and mapping
