Notes
The multi-instance roadmap review breakout was summarized with no comments.
The certification improvement breakout was summarized.
- An objection to the described direction was raised on the basis of that path "fragmenting" Ed-Fi's approach - making Ed-Fi look like "multiple standards" instead of trying to unify these. This objection was described in terms of being problematic for the "mission" of the Ed-Fi work. Some agreement from others.
- Subsequent discussion renewed the sense that the current support (with SIS systems) is still largely state-by-state, so it was raised as an idea that maybe this concept could be reflected in a way that would not have the "fragmentation" risks described above.
- Action: Eric to iterate and propose a new approach
The Data Out breakout was discussed. There were comments that it was too early to consider a "general roadmap shift away from ODS as analytics store" - there may be capabilities by the AMT to make this datastore more consumable, for example.
