- Seems simple to build reports, not a lot of technical knowledge required.
- Community collaboration build it, community members can create and share report templates and/or connectors.
- No connectors available for MS SQL yet, but a lot of other options available.
- Free to use, only requirement is a google account which can be a free personal or education account.
- Goal is to offer lower cost/free tool for small districts and teachers to be able to visualize, manipulate and share data without heavy technical burden.
- Security management
- Can use Role or Record security based on Google Suite users or by user email if checking against other sources.
- Does not require Google Suite for education, but it would make it easier to implement.
- Reports can be shared as google docs can be shared.
- Will need to dig into how LDAP or bigger implementation could potentially implement security without it becoming too burdensome.
