Introduction

The work group will propose versions of Ed-Fi data standards suitable for broad international deployment and usage. Like the current Ed-Fi standards operating in United States K12 education, the standards will focus on primary and secondary education and will consider in its designs the practical needs of implementers to operationalize this model in field work. The work group will consider relationships to other standards efforts at scale and operating in the same core use cases, and also how current industry momentum for Ed-Fi and other standards can be maintained as new models are developed.
