This section provides an overview of what's new in the latest version of the Sample Data Generator.
Updates and Improvements in SDG v1.3
- Major community updates by EdGraph to utilize NCES Common Core of Data (CCD) district survey data to generate SDG configuration. It has been noted by end-users of the SDG that configuration is a time-consuming task with many configuration point to update the necessary configuration. NCES publishes this data annually, which includes many data points needed for SDG to model a school district within the listing. This update automates that step with the existing NCES CCD data to greatly reduce the time and manual effort to use SDG to model a school district.
