The Ed-Fi “Classic Dashboards” are no longer supported through the Ed-Fi Alliance. You can still receive support and maintenance through the Ed-Fi vendor community. Please look at any of the vendors’ dashboard solutions on the Registry of Ed-Fi Badges or the Ed-Fi Starter Kits if you are looking for a visualization solution to use with the Ed-Fi ODS. This documentation will remain available to assist existing Classic Dashboard implementers.

Administrator Configuration

Overview 


The Administrator Configuration page provides a location for a user with administrative access to configure certain aspects of the Ed-Fi Dashboards.

 The following aspects can be managed through configuration:

Site Configuration

The Site Configuration tab provides the current status of the Ed-Fi Dashboard system. In addition, it provides the ability to temporarily deactivate the website and/or display a district-wide system message. 


Position Title Claim Sets

The Position Title Claim Sets tab provides an administrator with the option to associate staff members' job titles with permission claim sets, either interactively or in batch mode.


Metric Settings

The Metric Settings tab allows users to configure options for Custom Grading Scale, Credit Accumulation, and Student Goals. For more information, see Dashboard Metric Configuration and Customizing the Grading Scale Metrics.


Photo Management

The Photo Management tab enables an administrator to upload photographs for students, staff, and education organizations. For more information, see Dashboard Photo Management.
