The Ed-Fi “Classic Dashboards” are no longer supported through the Ed-Fi Alliance. You can still receive support and maintenance through the Ed-Fi vendor community. Please look at any of the vendors’ dashboard solutions on the Registry of Ed-Fi Badges or the Ed-Fi Starter Kits if you are looking for a visualization solution to use with the Ed-Fi ODS. This documentation will remain available to assist existing Classic Dashboard implementers.

The District Overview page gives a high-level view of the metrics on that are calculated and displayed on the district dashboard.
The District Overview page works in much the same way as the school overview. Each metric category is listed with a brief description. There are many hyperlinks on the page so the user, often a district leader or administrator, can easily get to more detailed information. The page provides the user with a clear and colorful visual of performance for the district. There are hover-over features to see current metric values and information. The overview page is the first page a district leader sees after logging on to the dashboards, allowing the ability to click straight through to an area of interest.
