Word List

This section is a list of words commonly found in the Ed-Fi Metrics Documentation, along with common usage rules. This list builds off of the more general /wiki/spaces/TECHPUB/pages/20612743 in the Ed-Fi Technical Documentation Style Guide. We've included a few terms from that list below if they appear often in the context of the metrics documentation.

List

Algebra I and Algebra II. As shown, with roman numeral (not, e.g., "Algebra 1") in all metric names and titles. Note however that editorial should avoid changing quoted text in business logic (in case the system value really contains the Arabic 1).

campus vs. school. Prefer "school."

drill-down. Note hyphen.

e.g. Ed-Fi style calls for a comma following e.g.

i.e. Ed-Fi style calls for a comma following i.e.

school. The preferred term for campus.
