Welcome to the Student Equity Starter Kit!

The Assessment Starter Kit provides step-by-step instructions to technical and non-technical users on how to implement the Ed-Fi Assessment solution

The Starter Kit is divided into three parts.

  • Demonstration Guide provides you with the ability to login to a hosted version of the Student Equity solution with sample data, so that you can look around and kick-the-tires before setting it up yourself.
  • /wiki/spaces/SK/pages/22003476 will lead you through a few brief steps to deploy a working version of the Student Equity solution using sample data on a single computer. The environment deployed by completing the Quick Start Guide is referred to as a sample environment. The Quick Start takes approximately two hours to complete and does not require any specialized IT knowledge.
  • Setup Guide provides detail on how to customize the Student Equity solution you explored in the Quick Start to fit your unique needs such as setting the solution up on your own infrastructure, configuring your student information system for Ed-Fi integration, and loading test data. Completing the Setup Guide will result in a test environment intended to mimic your production environment. It is recommended that you have access to resource(s) that have a basic knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Power BI.

For additional information on skills and technology used — and suggested team members to engage when using this Starter Kit — please see the General Reference and Starter Kit Specific Reference pages.
