XML Design & Implementation Guidelines

This section provides design guidelines and XSD specifications for Ed-Fi bulk data exchange using XML. The guidelines are non-normative specifications that describe the properties that an XSD must adhere to in order to be considered aligned to Ed-Fi technology standards. The guidelines also cover the allowable patterns for extending Ed-Fi-aligned XSD. The XSD specifications are normative specifications for XML data files.
