The Ed-Fi Data Handbook is a reference document containing definitions for every entity, association, and attribute found in the Ed-Fi Data Model.

The purpose of the Data Handbook is to harmonize definitions across all concrete data standards, thus ensuring that field and type names, type definitions, string lengths, and relationships are consistent throughout downstream artifacts, including the XSD files that define the Ed-Fi Bulk Data Specifications for XML and JSON for the companion API endpoints.
