The Educator Preparation Data Model (Community version) (Core edition, colloquially, EPDM-Community) captures Core) is an extension to the Ed-Fi Data Standard that captures data that allows an Educator Preparation Provider (EPP) to understand and answer key questions relating to educator candidate development.
The EPDM-Community extension includes every domain that exists in EPDM-Core plus:
- Expanded candidate information (Indicators, characteristics, citizenship, background checks + more)
- Recruitment and Staffing (applicants, applications, prospects, etc.)
- Credential library, certification exams, certification exam results and certification events
- Professional development
- Non-rubric evaluations (quantitative measures, survey response scores, goals)
Core extension contains models for the following data:
- Candidate demographics
- Program data (available programs and enrollment)
- Credentials
- Rubric based evaluations
