MetaEd QA Process for version 4.4

Description

A new MetaEd is being released and requires deep dive QA testing. This version runs with Visual Studio Code. Version number 4.4.

Test cases were built in Jira. The Jira tests include steps to reproduce, allows you to link bugs if you find any, and can mark pass/fail.

Finished all test cases. Did not find any more issues other than the ones listed in the previous comment.
Putting this ticket on Blocked for now until I get the Next Steps from .

Found the following probable issues:

1. Does not give an error message when there is no merge context whenever a merge context is necessary. Builds successfully.

In this instance, there should be a merge statement to CourseOffering: "merge CourseOffering.School with Location.School"

2. When adding the common EdFi.Name to the domain entity file, metaed kept giving an error message saying the there's no common Name in EdFi. The common EdFi.Name exists. After restarting Metaed, the error message goes away for a bit but comes back again. This didn't happen to EdFi.Address

3. There are no deprecation warning messages for the following

  • when creating a short

  • when adding "is queryable field"
