Ed-Fi RFC 18 - Implementation Artifacts for Ed-Fi ODS / API

This page contains the instructions for obtaining and deploying ED-FI RFC 18 - FINANCE API as an extension in an Ed-Fi OSD / API v3.x.

• Set up a development instance of ODS / API v3.1.1

  • Follow the instructions at Ed-Fi ODS / API v3.1.1 0 Getting Started

• Install the latest version of MetaEd v1.x

  • Follow the instructions at Getting Started with the MetaEd IDE

• Obtain the Finance extension

  • Navigate to https://github.com/Ed-Fi-Alliance/MetaEd-Contrib/tree/EdFiXFinance-v1 

  • Clone or download the branch to your local machine

• Integrate the Finance extension into your ODS/API

  • Follow the instructions at How To: Extend the Ed-Fi ODS / API - Student Transportation Example , starting at Step 3 and substituting the extension name with "EdFiXFinance".
