Problem

The source standard needs to be in the proper format for upload into MappingEDU.

Solution

Download the template file from MappingEDU.

Discussion

MappingEDU allows users to quickly and easily upload data standards and collections. In order for this upload to take place, the data must be in a standard format. A template is available for download, allowing users to simply override the example data with the data from the standard to be uploaded.

From the Data Standards menu, choose View All Standards.  Click  Create Standard in the upper right-hand corner.

Define the data standard or collection to be uploaded. 

In the Actions tab, click Download Template file.

Open the Excel template file and replace example data with the source data to be uploaded.
