Course Overview

Description

This course provides an overview of a plan for engaging local education agencies (LEAs) during the implementation of the Ed-Fi Data Standard and Technology Suite at an education service agency (ESA). The course is intended for LEA relationship managers at ESAs who communicate and coordinate with their constituent LEAs.

Course Outcome

By the end of this course, Academy students will: 

  • Develop a plan for LEA engagement throughout the stages of an Ed-Fi Data Standard and Technology Suite implementation

  • Plan for clear, regular project communications with timely content relevant to LEAs

  • Create appropriate engagement opportunities and training materials

  • Consider their agency's approach to providing technical support to LEAs throughout the implementation process

  • Create opportunities for LEAs to have a voice in the process
