This section briefly describes the new features and enhancements built into the Ed-Fi ODS / API Platform v6.2 and provides links to additional documentation.
.NET 8 Upgrade & Bug Fixes
The ODS/API v6.2 has been upgraded to utilize .NET 8. The preceding ODS/API v6.1 was built on .NET 6, which is scheduled to reach its end of support in November 2024. Please refer to the .NET core Support Policy for further information. If you intend to utilize ODS/API v6.x for the school year 2024-25, we recommend upgrading to v6.2. See Getting Started section for more details on the required software.
